I was born on October 18, 1967 in Bristol, TN to two wonderful, loving, God fearing, church going, Christ honoring, Bible believing parents. Their names were Pastor Franklin D. and Martha Biggs. God not only blessed me with wonderful parents but a wonderful brother as well and his name is Robert. God saved me at 11 years of age at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bristol, TN where the late Dr. Howard Robinson was the Pastor. God called me into the gospel ministry at a "Come To America Rally" that was held at the Castlewood High School in Castlewood, VA where Evangelist Tim Lee was preaching. God spoke to my heart that night in a powerful way and I know that I had but one thing to do, and that was to surrender my life to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord allowed me to involved in the bus ministry for a number of years at the Emmanuel Baptist Church where I saw many kids ride our church bus every week. I have also been involved in youth ministry where we worked very hard to encourage every young person to stay true to God, stand in the gap for their friends and to be strong in the service of the Lord. The College and Career ministry is a very important ministry in our local churches as we all have seen that people that age just seem to disappear after their teen years and that is why I have worked very diligent through the years to get and stay in touch with that age group. One big burden of my heart has always been the winning of the lost to the Lord Jesus and using a well designed outreach ministry that is simple but precise to encourage the child of God to be used of God greatly. God has allowed us to work in other key areas and various parts of the ministry. Later in my life after meeting my wife, I had the opportunity to go to Bible college and the Lord helped me to attain an Associate of Pastoral Theology Degree at the Belle Meadows Baptist College. I am currently the Assistant Pastor at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. I am a Christian by conviction, an Independent Fundamental Baptist by choice and a KJV Bible preacher convincingly. I love my wife, LaVonda, and children, Carson and Mary Beth, very much, I feel blessed to have them in my life and I am thankful for them standing by and supporting me in the ministry. I love the ministry with all of my heart and I am looking forward to the glorious return of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I am grateful that God has placed me within the ministry and I pray everyday that God would help me to become more like Him and please Him in every way. May God bless you as you continue to serve him and may we "Occupy till He comes!"
